Assistant Instructional Professor of Statistics

Ryan McShane earned his Ph.D. in Statistical Science from SMU. His research focuses on a blend of theoretical and applied statistics, which has included modeling intransitivity in paired comparisons and using GPS data to validate angling survey data, and is broadly interested in sports analytics, statistics and data science education, nonparametric methods, enumerative combinatorics, and interdisciplinary research.
